Bunk Beds4-U specializes in safe and sturdy solid wood
bunk beds. Our bunk beds come in 4 basic styles: Built with 2 x 4's and 2 x 6's,
furniture grade Douglas Fir wood. Our bunk bed assembly is simple and
easy. All holes are pre-drilled and come with all the lag bolts for assembly.
A Phillips screw driver & 1/2" socket wrench is all you need.
There are (4) basic types of bunk beds, The Standard bunk bed. The Loft bunk bed. The L-Shape bunk bed. The Twin over full size bunk bed.

When shopping for bunk beds, you come across the terms Slat Rolls and Bunkie Boards and wonder the difference. Most manufacture will offer slat rolls system which is a series of boards 1inches x 4 inches, these slat rolls serve as the mattress foundation. We recommend Bunkie boards this is more solid foundation and can be purchased as matching sets. When choosing your mattress ask for Bunkie sets. You can also use a sheet of particle board available at your local lumber yard. The required size 381/4' Wide x 75"long or 80" x 3/4 thick about $20 cut to size, at the lumber store.

There are a number of metal bunk beds available to consumers , and we have found that there is not only a large range in price, there is a large range in quality. Many lower cost metal bunk beds are made with 2" tubing. We have concerns about 2" metal bunk beds becoming wobbly over time. The Paul
Bunyan is from the days of the Viking Ships, made with 2x6 lumber. This bed is
made to last many years, made for kids, but strong enough for adults-up to 400
lbs per bunk. No particleboard or veneers are used in any of our bunk beds.
Using only premium furniture grade lumber. All of our beds feature rounded-over
edges. Full length Guard Rails. Ladders are built on the ends for easy claiming
to the top bunk.
The Princess
is for that special girl in the house. Built with 2x6's utilizing extra 2x4's on
the ladder rungs. We painted the bed with white wash and added a splash of pink.
The Princess L-Shape, this bed is two
beds a loft and a regular twin size bed. Remove the twin and replace with a
small desk. Built with 2 x 6 bed rails, 2 x 6 corner end post and 2 x 4 ladder
rungs. Standard height or extra tall available.
This a Twin on top and a full size
bed on the bottom. When grandma-ma visits she can sleep comfortable on the
bottom bed. We painted this bed with white wash, however light stain or dark
stain is available. Made with 2 x 6's for strength and durability. Regular full
size mattress on bottom with 2 x 4's as the foundation. Under bed roll-out drawers
for additional storage are optional.
This is the
Viking Standard bunk bed, built with 2 x 6 end post. Bed rails and ladder rungs
using 2 x 4's. This is a bunk bed recommended for young kids under the age of 12
weighting about 150 lbs for the top bunk. You can add a roll out trundle to this
setup. 
Trim-Line
the lowest priced bunk beds we make. This bunk bed is made for the younger children
in the house. The age 3-7 weighing not more than 60-80 lbs for the top bunk
bunk. The bottom bunk will accommodate and adult. We make this bunk bed from
2 x 4's. We can add another guard rail for the small child that is learning to
sleep on a bed rather than crib. You Can remove the rail when the child learns to
sleep on a regular bed.....As low priced as this is, this bunk is still a better
bed than any metal bunk found at your retail stores. Easy to assembly (24) 4"
lag bolts.
