My name is John "Bunk Bed John" as they call me in the neighborhood. My wife and I started a news worthy business a few years ago. Due to corporate down sizing and cut backs we lost our jobs with the company's we had been with for many years. I'm sure many people have gone through this situation. This is a reality most of us will face soon or have already faced. Being in our 50's there is not too many company's that will hire older people. Most companies want the younger college types. These days there no such thing as loyalty, its the bottom line, when times get tuff the first thing that happens is company's cut personnel.

We looked into other options, like business opportunities on the internet, or multi-level programs selling vitamins. Click on some of these banners at bottom of this page, check them out. Some of these offers are free to join, but believe me you won't make any money been a free member. It takes a little bit of money to make money. "Nothing in life is FREE."

While reading a wood working magazine I read an advertisement where a man in Minnesota had started a business from home building bunk beds. This man went on to be very successful and now sells his plans to other people like you & me. I contacted the company and purchased the plans to build 12 models. I started with the equipment I already had , table saw, household tools, you'll be surprised of what you already have.

To make a long story short, we are now building bunk beds "right from our garage" Yes! very high quality sturdy beds you won't find in your typical furniture store. Apparently most manufactures of bunk beds are in other Countries and seem to be unaware that kids like to play on bunks (not suggested on top bunk ) most bunk beds I've seen at the retail stores look nice but won't stand up to normal use by young kids. Metal bunk beds are cheep but won't last  very long.

The college student can not find a bunk beds that's long enough or they could fit into or hold their weight. Our beds are made very strong, need a bunk beds a bit longer, taller, shorter, maybe you want an extra rail, or a special color. We'll do it for you. Visit our products page for pictures and pricing.
